V-FIT Foundations (Beginner/Introductory)

  • Varied, Functional and Intense Group Personal Training. Do not let the name intimidate you! This is an introductory class focusing on the fundamental functional movements, no choreography. The movements will be varied using periodization techniques and everyone will work to their own Intensity level as this is unique to the individual. This class will cover all components of fitness; Whole-body strength, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, balance plus many more useful traits found in many athletes that everyone can benefit from. This class will be followed up with specialty programming in the future for those wishing to take their training to the next level without the cost of a one-on-one personal trainer.

 

Spinning

  • Spinning classes are a great way to get in a vigorous cycling workout — burning calories and keeping your muscles in shape. The instructor will guide you through workout phases. Warm-up, steady up tempo cadences, sprints, climbs, cool-downs. You control resistance on your bike to make the pedaling as easy or difficult as you choose. Constant adjustment is normal. The varied routines will keep things fresh, great for all ability levels and you don’t have to wear your helmet. All you’ll need are workout clothes, a towel (to wipe your face) and a water bottle.

 

Core conditioning (30 mins)

  • Just as the name implies this is a 30 minute class focusing on the core of the body; abdominals, obliques and lower back. The core is often a neglected or misunderstood body part when it comes to training, but vital to daily life and activity. Plan on staying after the Spinning classes or come in just for this class and get that core strong.
